About Noorbayt

Noorbayt means the house of light. Noor is light, bayt is home — and that is roughly what we do: wall art that brings the light of another part of the world into a Nordic home.

What we sell

Posters with Middle Eastern and Islamic artwork. Not strictly religious only — we work just as much with the culture and the aesthetics: calligraphy, architecture, arches and geometry, desert light, and cities as they once looked.

The range is divided into series:

Architecture and monuments — mosques, minarets and buildings in flat, muted illustration.
Golden Age — cities as they were. Kabul in the 1970s, Beirut, Samarkand.
Atmospheric — desert light, new moons and stillness.
For children — warm, gentle artwork for the smallest rooms.

How they are made

The artwork is developed by us and is not available anywhere else. The posters are printed to order at a European printer, so there is no warehouse and nothing is produced beyond what is bought. It also means your poster is printed closer to you and reaches you sooner.

We print on heavy paper at 300 DPI. For framing there is a 4 mm bleed on every edge, and we keep key elements at least 9 mm from the edge, because a frame covers 4-5 mm all the way around.

Who is behind it

Noorbayt is run from Randers, Denmark, by Limitless Card ApS, company registration no. (CVR) 40223770. It is a small business — not a chain, not a warehouse, not a call centre. If you write to us, it is us who answer.

What is coming

We are working on an adhan module: a small speaker that you mount behind the frame yourself. It calculates prayer times and calls to prayer without changing the look of the poster. It is not for sale yet — we want to confirm first that Fajr is calculated correctly at Danish latitudes, where the sun barely sets in summer. That is where cheap modules typically fail.
