A 50×70 cm poster covers 2.9 times as much wall as a 30×40 — but costs only DKK 90 more. 3,500 cm² against 1,200 cm², DKK 279 against DKK 189. Measured by area, 50×70 is the cheapest size we have.

Why the price does not follow the size
The posters are printed to order, and a larger sheet costs only a little more to print and ship than a small one. That is why the price rises far more slowly than the area. It is the same mechanism that makes the second poster in a parcel cost almost nothing extra in shipping — and why three posters give you more wall for your money than one.
Choose 30×40 when
- the poster is part of a group or a gallery wall
- the wall is narrow — a hallway, between two doors, above a sideboard
- you would rather have three motifs than one
Choose 50×70 when
- the poster hangs alone on a free wall
- it hangs above a sofa or a bed — see poster size above a sofa
- the motif has a lot of detail, such as architecture and city scenes
The A sizes
A2 and A3 are the European standard formats. They are slightly narrower than 45×60 and 30×40, and they therefore fit frames you already own if those were bought as A sizes. If in doubt, choose 30×40 or 50×70 — they are the easiest to find frames for in Denmark. To skip buying a frame altogether, selected designs also come as framed posters, ready to hang.
One caveat
Prices are as of 11 August 2026 for unframed posters and may change. Price per 100 cm² is calculated on the full sheet size, not on the visible motif: if the poster sits in a frame, the frame covers 4-5 mm all the way round.
